Our Mission Is To Serve Families In Need Of Furniture Due To Hardship. We Are Located In Gales Ferry, Connecticut, And Serve All Of Southeastern Connecticut. The Furniture We Provide Is Donated By People Who Are Moving Or Replacing Furniture, Or From Estates. However, Most Of Our Beds Are Purchased, Using Funds From Tag Sales, Grants, And Donations. The People We Serve Are Referred By Over 60 State Agencies, Women''s Shelters, Churches, And Other Organizations That Help People In Need. During Fiscal Year 2019, We Were Able To Help 229 Families. Donated Furniture Is Stored In Three Lockers At The Cubesmart Storage Facility In Gales Ferry. One Of These Lockers Is Provided Free Of Charge By The Management, Saving Us Almost $4,000 Per Year In Rental Fees.
