Usagainstalzheimer''s Action Played A Key Role In The Recent 425 Million Increase In Alzheimer''s Funding Approved By Congress For Fy 2019. The Increase Brought The Total Nih Investment To Approximately $2.3 Billion Per Year, A Significant Improvement In The Path Toward Our Goal Of Research Funding Needed To Advance The Prevention And Effective Treatment Of Alzheimer''s By 2025. Through A Smart, Efficient Allocation Of Resources, Our Relatively Small Direct Investment Of $4.4 Million (Since 2010) Has Helped Generate More Than A Cumulative $1.84 Billion Increase In U.S. Federal Alzheimer''s Research Funding Since 2011 (Through Nih And The Department Of Defense).
